Quick notes

Leaving the desert today and getting back into some forest area as we head from Marpha toward Ghasa.

Toured a Buddhist Monastery yesterday in the town and today was woken up by their call to prayer at 5 am.

Marpha is by far the cleanest town of the trip so far, probably because they make the livestock walk around it opposed to through it.

The west side of the circuit is much more developed than the east side due to a road that now runs parallel to the hiking trail (the road actually is the old trail, but a new trail has been put in on the other side of the river). More consistent hot showers and wifi in almost every guesthouse compared to none of that during the first week of the trek.

Off to eat some apple pancakes in the fresh fruit capital of Nepal!

Picture of the town below.
